San Antonio de Benageber y Embalse de Benageber

El alcalde de San Antonio de Benageber, D. Eugenio Cañizares y D. Felipe del Baño, concejal de medio ambiente, recibieron a los técnicos del Ministerio Turco y tras una breve introducción del Municipio, mostraron la instalación de paneles solares en el tejado del edificio del nuevo Ayuntamiento y en la piscina municipal, las zonas verdes del término, las fuentes de osmosis inversa y los diferentes contenedores de recogida de residuos

Los técnicos también pudieron conocer el funcionamiento de la Depuradora de Montesano donde el Concejal de Servicios D. Jose Llopis les facilitó detalles sobre el control de calidad de aguas y sus incidencias

 

San Antonio de Benageber es un municipio donde el agua ha tenido un papel fundamental. Nacido hace unos 50 años, en sus origines se emplazaba en el lugar donde ahora se ubica el Embalse de Benageber, gestionado por la Confederación Hidrográfica del Júcar, dependiente del Ministerio de Medio ambiente.

The Mayor of San Antonio de Benageber, D. Cañizares and D. Felipe del Baño, Councillor for Environment, welcomed the Turkish Ministry technicians and after a brief introduction of the City, showed the installation of solar panels on the roof of the new Town Hall and the municipal swimming pool, green areas of the term, reverse osmosis sources and different waste collection bins (containers). 

A guided tour for the municipality included the new water deposits in a recently opened and urbanized area of Montesano.

Municipal technicians and the Councilor responsible Mr. Jose Llopis informed about the general details of the complex and facilitated details about the functioning and maintenance of the devices including the use of chemical products and control of the quality of the water.

San Antonio de Benageber is a municipality which origins are directly linked to water. Then initial village was located in a place where it was built one of the biggest reservoirs of Spain: “El embalse de Benageber”.  Nowadays the water still is one of the municipal priorities and focus most of the activities – as for the 21 agenda, for instance. Other initiatives as the celebration of the Year of the Tree and the Information Bulletin where best practices at local level are disseminated. 

Técnicos de la Confederación, amablemente mostraron sus instalaciones a los técnicos del Ministerio Turco y a la representación del Ayuntamiento de San Antonio de Benageber, formada por su Alcalde y Dña. Adela Villagrasa, Teniente Alcalde del Municipio.

 The representatives of the Turkish Ministry , San Antonio de Benageber City Council Major and Vice Major plus the technicians of the Ministry of Environment  (confederación Hidrografica del Tujar) visited the different rooms and technical resources of the complex in a comprehensive visit.
