La primera visita dentro del programa de presentación de buenas prácticas en la Comuidad Valenciana se inició con la visita al Parque Natural de la Dehesa del Saler en el término de Valencia. Gestionado por el Ayuntamiento de Valencia y la Conselleria de Medio Ambiente
El parque natural del Saler en sus instalaciones cuenta con un centro de acogida e información y con una exposición permanente con información sobre el parque: su flora y fauna protegida así como actividades que desarrolladas por el hombre en torno a la agricultura del arroz y la caza. La visita se completó con el acceso al mirador de aves y el observatorio aéreo.Se facilitó a los visitantes completa información en ingles sobre el espacio y diversos mapas y posters
Comprehensive visit to the Natural Park in the Valencia city limits. First presentation of good practices of the region in the Natural Park of La Dehesa del Saler. The information Centre and the management of the park is shared by Valencia City Council and Valencia Regional Ministry of Environment and Landscape.
Saler National Park Interpretation and Information center is one of the resources available for visitors.There is also a permanent exhibition with general information about the park, nature, activities developed by the inhabitants of the area and geological information and some cultural references. Agriculture, waste management and care of protected animals and hunting were also included in the information provided.
